Biography

Catharina Bogaert was born in 1706 in Esopus (Kingston), New York to Cornelis Hendricksz Bogard (bef.1682-1728) and Cornelia DeLameter (abt.1680-).^[1]

She was baptized at the Kingston Old Dutch Church in Kingston, New York on 11 Aug 1706. Her parents' names were listed as Cornelis Bogaart and Cornelia de la Metre. Witnesssing her baptism were Hendrick Bogaart and Rutge Waldrum.^[2]

Her parents relocated from New York to what would become Hunterdon County, in the Province of New Jersey when she was about 1 year old.

She appears to have married William Jewel about 1731 (Source needed.)
