Biography

Arthur was born in 1887. He was the son of Samuel Bogue and Barabara Gustin.

He married Sarah Jane "Sadie" Burns (1889-1919) on 24 Feb 1908.^[1][2] They had four children:

Mabel Maybelle Bogue 1908-1937

Claiborne John Samuel Bogue 1911-1975

Virginia Bogue 1913-2001

William Wesley Bogue 1916-1995

After being widowed, he was recorded farming with three young adult children in 1930 in Ralls, MO. He was recorded in 1940 as a teamster for a sawmill in Pike, MO, living alone.

He passed away in 1957. He is buried in Salt Lick Cemetery in Spalding, MO, sharing a stone with Sadie.
