Biography

Margaret was born about 1873. She was the daughter of Samuel Bogue and Barabara Gustin.

She is recorded at age 7 in Ralls, MO in 1880, where her birthplace is given as Kansas. Her father was 50 and her mother was 26. She had 6 siblings (and half-siblings) ranging in age from 18 to 6 months.

On 1 May 1892 she married Arthur Morgan Pew (1861-1950) in Audrain, Missouri. They would have four children together:

Mary Charlotte Pew 1893-1970

Pearl Ann Pew 1895-1979

Guy Freeman Pew 1897 1963

Fred Pew 1900-1975.

She is recorded in 1900 at age 28, with husband Arthur Pew, 39. They had three children present in the census: Lottie (8), Pearl (6), and Guy (3).

She died on September 9, 1900, the day her youngest child was born. She is buried in Salt Lick Cemetery in Spalding, Ralls, Missouri.
