Tony Booth is Notable.
British television and theatre actor He was best known for his role as Alf Garnett's son-in-law in Till Death Us Do Part. He also had a lead role in the Confessions... film series in the 1970s.
The birth of Anthony G. Booth was recorded in the 4th Quarter, 1931, in West Derby Registration District, inferred county of Lancashire. His mother's maiden name was Thompson. [1]
Tony was born in 1931. Tony's birth was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1931 in the West Derby district. They were the child of Thompson.[2] His mother was Mary Vera Thompson a Roman Catholic of Irish descent; his father George H Booth, who worked as a merchant seaman during the Second World War, was a Catholic convert. They had married in 1930.[3]
He married (1) Gale Smith in 1954. Smith's marriage to Anthony G Booth was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1954 in the Marylebone district.[4] They had 2 daughters, Cherie and Lindsay before they divorced.
He married (2) Pat Phoenix in 1986, days before her death. Anthony's marriage to Patricia F Phoenix was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1986 in the Stockport district.[5]
He married (3) Nancy Jaeger in 1988. They had a daughter Joanna, and divorced in 1996.
He married (4) Stephanie Buckley in 1998. Antony's marriage to Stephenie A Buckley was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1998 in the Liverpool district.[6] She survived him.
He had 5 other daughters through extra-marital relationships, including Lauren, a journalist and activist.
He passed away on 25 Sep 2017.
