  • Geneanet.org, Karen Theriot Reader's Family Tree, Benoni Boucher citing 2: E-mail - Internet - From Stacey Mauger (email removed) in Mar 2019, relaying information sent by Stephen A. White. - Marguerite Boudrot (bt Port-Toulouse c 1753; m 1 between c 1772 and 1774 Germain Lejeune; m 2 c 1776 Bénoni Boucher). I think Marguerite's first husband must have been Germain Lejeune, who had first been married to Marie-Anne Marres dit LaSonde. This Marie-Anne had first been married to Honoré Boucher dit Villedieu and was Bénoni Boucher's mother. It might appear to be somewhat implausible that Bénoni had married his stepfather's widow, until one considers that his mother Marie-Anne had been about thirteen years older than his stepfather Germain, who was thus only about three years older than his stepson Bénoni. Germain meanwhile would have been about twelve years older than Marguerite Boudrot. Additionally, Germain and Marie-Anne's only known child, Félicité Lejeune, also settled, at least for a time, on the south side of Arichat Harbour, on the point that is still known by her husband's name, Kavanagh Point. That is the only other Lejeune connection to this part of Isle Madame, so it seems quite probable that Félicité and Scholastique would have had the same father.
