Born Joseph Aimé William on July 1, 1903 in Haute-Aboujagane, Westmorland, New Brunswick, he was the son of Abel Boudreau and Emelie Landry.[1]

He married Alvina McGraw on August 5, 1923 at St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Shediac, Westmorland, New Brunswick. He was 20 years old at the time while the bride was 18. Her parents were Jean McGraw and Joséphine Melanson. They were the parents of 6 children but 2 died in childhood.[3]

Aimé died at the age of 73 on October 22, 1976 in Lakeburn, Westmorland county, New Brunswick and was buried in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe (now Chartersville), Westmorland county.[4]

OBITUARY ~ A BOUDREAU
The death of Aime BOUDREAU of 6 Leger Avenue, Dieppe (NB) occurred Friday at the Dr Georges Dumont Hospital. He was 73. Born in Upper Aboujagane, he was a son of Emilie (Boudreau-Gallant) and the late Abel Boudreau..
He was employed as a sheet metal worker for the Irving Oil Company's Moncton firm, retiring in 1969. He attended Our Lady of Lorette Roman Catholic Church, Lakeburn.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, the former Alvina McGraw; 2 daughters: Emilie, Louise; 2 sons: John, Reginald; 6 sisters: Mrs Stan Zambryski [Yvonne] of Montreal; Mrs Edgar Richard [Marge] of Moncton, Mrs Ted Hand [Sally] of Ontario; Mrs Marcel Bru [Celina] of Quebec; Mrs James Read [Doreen] of Ontario and Mrs Robert Chapman [Theresa] of Amherst NS; 3 brothers: Alex of Barachois; Meddie of Sackville and Laurie of Amherst; 17 grandchildren, 3 GR grandchildren.
The body will rest at Frenette's Funeral Home, Moncton, after 7 pm today. Mass will be celebrated Monday at our Lady of Lorette Roman Catholic Church at a time to be announced. Interment will be held in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery."
