On 9 Jan 1804, in Deschambault, navigator Louis Boudreau adult son of the late Isaïe Boudreau écuyer and Marie Josephe Germain dite Bellisle married Marie Josephe Naud minor daughter of farmer and postmaster Paul Naud and Marie Josephe Denys. Witnesses included Michel Louis Juchereau Duchesnay law student in Québec, Augustin Paquin, Antoine Louis Juchereau Duchesnay justice of the peace and Charles Boudreau brother of the groom. All the witnesses signed along with the groom, the bride could not sign, both the groom and his brother sign "Boudraut".
Their daughter Marie Mélanie born and baptized 25 Sep 1803 was "legitimized" at the marriage ceremony. [3][4]
Louis Boudreau, 66 year old carpenter, died 1 Apr 1847. He was buried 5 Apr 1847 in Notre-Dame-de-Montréal cemetery. [5]
