Biography

Elizabeth Bowman, the daughter of Benjamin Bowman and Sarah Catherine ____, was born 12 February 1778 in Rockingham County, Virginia, and died 10 August 1875 in Limestone, Washington, Tennessee, at the age of 98y 5m 28d. On 17 April 1798 she married John Byerly, the son of Joseph Byerly. They had 9 children: Mary, Samuel, Benjamin, Susanna, David, Elizabeth, Sara E. Ellen, John W. H., and Joseph.[1]

Her Find A Grave Memorial incorrectly says she died in 1865 instead of 1875.[2]
