Interesting, I see a sourced birth date for her but she's not in the Fishkill book, though her parents have other baptisms there around that time.

Aeltje appears to have been tied to Isaac and Sarah because two of her first four children have those names.

Hello Carrie, per Geni Aaltje Swarthout (Brinckerhoff) and also in agreement with my desktop database she is daughter of Isaac Brinckerhoff and Sarah Rapalje.

It looks pretty solid to me. If you agree, go ahead and connect them to complete this lineage.

My bio note on Isaac's profile is a bit confused, so I am not sure when the first Aeltie died. She must have been an infant, I would presume, not 11 years old at death, as the bio note states. But the later daughter Aeltie married the Brigadier General Swartwout.

Oh, I get it now, Aeltie's father Isaac had a twin, Jacob, who also had a daughter named Aeltie, born 5/18/1739, and who died at age 11. So she was a cousin of this Aeltie, not a sister.
