Biography

There is a memorial to her in St. Munchin's Cathedral that states "Conditum est hoc monumentum a Thoma Smyth S. T. P. episcopo Limericensi, in piam memoriam nupeae suae uxoris charissimæ Dorothae, quae obiit, sexto die Augusti, A. D. 1711, aetatis 43, cujus reliqiuae hic sitae sunt. Filia erit Ulisses Burgh S. T. P. non ita pridem Episcopi Ardachndensis, ex Maria Nata Gulielmi Kingsmill armigeri." which roughly translates as "This monument was founded by Thomas Smyth, S.T.P. Bishop of Limerick, in loving memory of his beloved late wife Dorothea who died on the sixth day of August, A.D. 1711, at age 43, her remains are located here. Daughter of Ulysses Burgh S. T. P., not so long ago the Bishop of Ardagh, by Mary born of William Kingsmill armsbearer."[1]

Burgh-323 and Burgh-132 appear to represent the same person because: both are the wife of the Thomas Smyth. Neither profile looks particularly accurate. Ardagh is in county Longford, her husband was the Bishop of Limerick so that's a possible death place.
