Biography

Néré was born on 11 Jun 1845 in Saint-Joseph-de-la-Pointe-de-Lévy, the son of Pierre Bégin, farmer, and Charlotte Turgeon . He was baptised the next day with Néré Bégin and Angélique Hallé standing as his godparents. Neither signed, but it was signed by his father [1].

On 18 Jul 1871 Nérée Bégin, 25, son of Pierre Bégin and Charlotte Turgeon, married Honorine Rouillard, 18, daughter of Pierre Rouillard and Marie Desanges Gagnon, in St-Evariste-de-Forsyth, Beauce. Witnessed by Céprien Gobeil, Marie Gosselin, and many others. None signed[2].
