Biography

Marie Tharsile was born on 20 Jul 1846 in Lauzon, the daughter of Pierre Bégin and Charlotte Turgeon. She was baptised the same day in the parish of St-Joseph-de-la-Pointe-Lévy, with Magloire Bégin and Marie Anne Couture standing as godparents^[1].

Just a few days later Tharsile died on 1 Aug 1846. She was buried 2 days later, witnessed by Charles Lecours and Augustin Smith^[2].
