Charles Henry Castledine was born on 20 April 1908 at Midland Junction, Western Australia,[1] the son of Charles Joseph Castledine and Florence Elliott.[2] The fifth of their seven children, Charles had two younger brothers and four older sisters.
Charles Henry Castledine, son of Charles Joseph Castledine and Florence Elliott, married Grace Patterson, daughter of Herman Patterson and Annie Suzannah Watkins,[3] at Kalgoorlie, Western Australia on 15 December 1934.[4] They had at least two children.
Charles Castledine is an Anzac who served in World War Two.
Charles Henry Castledine enlisted in the Australia Army at Claremont, Western Australia on 13 August 1942.[1]Charles was discharged as a private from 13 AIT B on 19 October 1944.[1] He named his wife Grace as next of kin.[1]
Charles Henry Castledine passed away at Esperance, Western Australia on 27 September 1989.[5] He was survived by his wife Grace.
