Mechelen transit camp (German: SS-Sammellager Mecheln) was a Nazi concentration camp in Mechelen, Belgium. It was the only transit camp in Belgium. Between 1942 and 1944 over 25,000 people were sent to concentration and extermination camps from here. The camp was situated in the Dossin Barracks, former army barracks in Mechelen. The camp was abandoned in September 1944 with the liberation of Belgium.
