Child-741 and Child-642 appear to represent the same person because: The birth dates are the same, the pre-1752 calendar systems probably being the discrepancy between 1733 and 1734.. There may have been multiple Abijah Childs and multiples may have served in the American Revolution; still, these would seem to be the same person. The Find a Grave record 167246280 which offers yet another death date but may not be this one (the list of children that have been attached to the Find a Grave record does not match Child-741 but contains a son Edward, as listed for both Child-741 and Child-642.) I have just started to research for disambiguation - not sure how to resolve the discrepancies in death dates at this juncture but think we should have just one Capt Abijah Child b. 12 Jan in 1733/4 in Watertown MA.
