Biography

Patrick was born in 1887.^[1] He was the son of Patrick Collins and Mary Brennan. He passed away in 1939.^[2] He is buried in the Lutwyche Cemetery, Queensland.^[3]

In 1922, Patrick married Maria Agnes Tunny.^[4]

Death of Northern Racing Identity
The death occurred this morning, in a Brisbane private hospital of Mr. Patrick Collins, well known in North Queensland sporting and pastoral circles.
The late Mr. Collins, who was 51 years of age, came to Brisbane from the North about two years ago. Interested in pastoral holdings, he was also well known as secretary of the Townsville Turf Club and also the North Queensland Amateur Turf Club for many years. He was also chief clerk and secretary to the late James S. Love, a northern cattle Identity.
The late Mr. Collins Is survived by a widow and family, who are living at Duncan Street, Valley.
The funeral will take place to the Lutwyche Cemetery at 2 p.m. tomorrow, following a service in the crypt at the Holy Name Cathedral.^[5]
