Elizabeth was born about 1620. She passed away in 1712.

Elizabeth's maiden name is unknown, therefore her date of birth is unknown. While in England she married _____ Copley and had at least 2 children with him: Thomas and Elizabeth. She eventually made her way to the Colonies (possibly with her husband or after she was widowed, likely the later). She married Nathaniel Phelps on September 17, 1650 in Hartford, Connecticut. They had 6 children together: Mary; Nathaniel Jr.; Abigail; William; Thomas; and Mercy. Elizabeth died on 6 Dec 1712 in Northampton, Massachusetts. Elizabeth’s Will divided the house and land between her sons Nathaniel and William Phelps, 50 pounds to daughter Abigail, 5 pounds to the children of Matthew and Mary Clesson, 10 shillings to son-in-law Matthew Clesson, and 20 shillings to her grandchildren Samuel and John “Lankton” (who were the children of Elizabeth Copley).
