In my research about the family of Benjamin Corning and his wife, Judith, I was able to locate birth records for their son John, but how do we know that this son John is also that man who married Miriam Crowell (abt.1734-abt.1773).
At least to my knowledge, John was a common given name in this Corning line.
Are there deeds or other evidence showing the two John's are the same man?
