Biography

Margaret Curtis was born about 1768 in North Carolina, her father, Jonathan, was 21, and her mother, Mary, was 18. She died about 1851 in Towns County, Georgia, having lived a long life of 83 years.^[1] She is believed to be buried in Carter Cemetery in Towns County, Georgia. The headstone simply states "Mother of Peter Stroud".^[2]
