John D'Arcy was born about 1701 and married Elizabeth Judge, daughter of Thomas Judge of Grangebeg, Westmeath, in 1727.[1] In the marriage settlement, the Grangebeg estates were left to John D'Arcy "for life remainder to his Eldest & other sons in Tail Male".[2]
John and Elizabeth had nine known sons and three daughters.
In December 1726, he deeded to Thomas Nangle of Robbinstown, Meath, 182 acres in Dunmoe for 31 years, He deeded to Francis D'Arcy of Corbetstown the lands of Hodgestown Farbill in December of 1727.[3]
He died in March 1758.[4]
