Research Notes

QUESTION: Why is Garfield under name "Garfield Abraham Darnell" at FindaGrave if his name is Garfield Robert Darnell?

  1. Are we sure that Abraham was a nickname and not a given name?
  2. Could Abraham be a first given name, not generally used?

(I personally do not know, and although I am a Darnell descendant, I am most likely not bloodline related to this Darnell branch, just working on getting all Darnells allocated to their proper lineage in my private tree. I always go after inconsistencies regardless of my "connection or lack thereof". ([Wendell-374] 9-15-2023)
