Biography
Reuben E Davis was born in 1819. He was the son of William Davis and Joice Johnson.[1] He fought in the Civil War for Company I, 60th Regiment Alabama Infantry. He was injured near the end of the war due to a gun shot wound to his right leg. He survived the war and made it back to Heard County, but died one month later.
