Berengere (or Berenguela) Of Castile-Leon, born in 1204. She married in 1223 (as his 3rd wife) Jean De Brienne, 3rd son of Erard II de Brienne, by Agnes, daughter of Guillaume III, Count of Nevers, Auxerre, and Tonnerre. He was born c. 1169-74. They had three sons, Alphonse [9th Count of Eu, Chamberlain of France], Jean [Butler of France], and Louis, Chev. [Vicomte of Beaumont], and one daughter, Marie (wife of Baudouin [II].

Thank you!

Probably connected to the wrong Agnes. His wife was born c1135 to Richard who is listed as her grandfather. Her mother was probably Agnes De Montbeliar (c1110-1148). The mother, Agnes, is also referred to as Sophie. Amadee is her brother and he had a daughter named Agnes.

De Brienne-93 and Brienne-40 appear to represent the same person because: Although there is a difference in the approximate birth date, they are the same person. Brienne is the preferred LNAB
