Gautier (Walter) IIJ, son of Gautier (Walter) I, was born about 944. ^[1]

Gaugthier (II) "le Blanc", was son of Gauthier (I) Comte d'Amiens and his [first/second] wife [Eva---/Adela ---] ^[2]

Marriage

He married Adele. ^[1]

Walter II, "The White", married Adela ^[3]

He married Adela. "Walterius comes" donated property "prope nostrum castellum…Medanta" to "Carnotensi monasterio Sancti Petri", for the soul of "coniugis mee Adelidis filiorumque meorum", by charter to [1006], signed by "Walterii comitis, Rodulfi filii eius, Drogonis filii eius…". ^[2]

Gauthier was previously connected to Adele de Senlis as his wife. While it is clear that his wife's name as Adele, no evidence has been found that his wife was Adele de Senlis, and therefore she has been disconnected as his wife.

A charter of "Hugo…Francorum rex" confirming the privileges of the monastery of Corvey dated 987 is subscribed by "Walteri comitis Ambianensis ac filiorum eius Walteri, Gotfredi, Rodulfi"[24]. Comte de Mantes. ^[2]

1006 Charter

He was the father of Dreux (Drogo), Count of the Vexin, d. 1035. ^[1] He was the father of Drogo (or Dreux, Drew), Count of Mantes, the vexin and Amiens, France. ^[4] Dreux [Drogo] de Mantes (-[13 Aug] [1035]) is named in 1006 Charrter: "Walterius comes" donated property "prope nostrum castellum…Medanta" to "Carnotensi monasterio Sancti Petri", for the soul of "coniugis mee Adelidis filiorumque meorum", by charter to [1006], signed by "Walterii comitis, Rodulfi filii eius, Drogonis filii eius…". He succeeded his father as Comte de Mantes. Comte d'Amiens. ^[2]
3. Foulques de Mantes . Robert II King of France confirmed to the abbot of Saint-Germain and Saint-Vincent that he had forced “noster comes Drogo...cum duobus fratribus Fulcone...et Rodulfo necnon uxore cum filiis supramemorati Drogonis” to renounce rights to revenue from “in villa...Domni Martini...” to Saint-Germain-des-Prés by charter dated [1 Jan/1 Mar]1031. ^[2]
4. daughter . The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines refers to the mother of "Waleranni comitis [Mellentini]" as daughter of "Gauterus Albus de Albamarla"[51]. Yves de Chartres names "Gualterius Albus" as father of "matrem Gualeranni comitis"[52]. m HUGUES Comte de Meulan, son of GALERAN [II] Comte de Meulan & his wife --- (-after 25 Aug 1005). ^[2]
