Isaac DuBose IV was born on 14 May 1754 at Saint Stephens Parish, Charleston District, South Carolina. [An alternate birth date is 14 May 1750.] He was the son of Isaac DuBose III and Catherine Boisseau. Captain Isaac DuBose IV married Catherine Dutarque, daughter of John Dutarque, on 27 February 1777 at St. Philip's Parish, Charleston, South Carolina.

Marriage: Isaac DuBose IV married Catherine DuBose on 7 April 1797 at South Carolina.

He passed away in 1816. [1]
Captain Isaac DuBose IV died on 22 May 1816 at Camden, The District of Kershaw, South Carolina, at age 62.

As per the DAR Isaac served as a Lieutenant in the South Carolina Militia, with Captain Elias Dubose. Also Vol Indep Co, St David's Parish. [2]

He was buried at Quaker Cemetery, Camden, Kershaw County, South Carolina. Image of stone indicates he was with the South Carolina Dragoons [3]
