Timothy Eaton of Haverhill was an officer in the Revolutionary War, serving as Captain of a company of Minute-men, Col. Samuel Johnson's regiment, which marched on the alarm of April 19, 1775, and as Captain of a militia company that joined Col. Jedediah Huntington's regiment, and in Col. Edward Wiggelsworth's regiment in 1776 reinforcing the Continental Army in Canada and New York.

Timothy was born in 1731. He was the son of James Eaton and Rachel Kimball. [3]
Abigail Massey married Capt. Timothy Eaton in 1756 at Haverhill, Massachusetts. [4] They had 12 children.
Timothy was shown as a Brass Founder as Occupation.
His first wife died May 29, 1797. On Nov 28, 1797 "Timothy Eaton and wid. Mary Coburn of Dracut" were married. [5]
Capt. Timothy died in 1811 at age 80 in Haverhill, Massachusetts. [6] He was buried at Second West Parish Cemetery. [7]
