Biography

Thomas was a son of Jan Thomaszen (Eckerson) and Apollonia Cornels (Swits). He was baptized in the Reformed Dutch Church in New York City on 27 January 1669. The father's last name was recorded as Thomaszen on the baptism record.^[1]
