Biography
George Evans is a part of US Black heritage.
George Wright Evans was born on 31 July 1901, in Sabine, Texas, to parents Hardy Marshall Evans and Le Ella Smith. [1]
He married Etta Mae Magee on 14 February 1934. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 2 daughters. [2]
George registered for the WWII Draft in 1940.[3]
He lived in Justice Precinct 2, Shelby, Texas, United States in 1910 and Richmond, Contra Costa, California, United States in 1950. [4]
He died on 9 January 1975, in Vallejo, Solano, California, United States, at the age of 73,[5] and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Oakland, Alameda, California, United States.[6]
