John FANN [1] was born about 1803[2] in Honeycutts Township, Sampson, North Carolina, United States.
For his two marriages, only the 2nd marriage record for Mary Ann Jackson[3] has been located, but his first wife is named in one source,[4] and is shown as Bytheney Fann in the family household in 1850.[2]
Jerusia Rushie (Fann) Guin[11] (1876-1947[15]), who married C Monroe Guin
Jarrott Jack Jart F Fann Fenn[11] (1868-1954[13]) who married Jewel Guin[6]
Rovella (Fann) Guin (1879-1918[14][11] who married L A Guin[6]
John Carney Fann died about 1900 in Sampson, North Carolina, United States. Note that this is a memorial marker, only: Find A Grave: Memorial #122711222.
Research Notes
A possible match on his father is William Fann (born circa 1776), who married "Polley" on 1 Mar 1791.[16], but at present this is a sole source. Other reads of the document suggest Polley Long as the spouse. Given the evidence for a different mother of John, this would be an additional marriage.
