She was the daughter of Walter FitzRobert, Knt, of Little Dunmow, Essex, and Maud de Lucy. [1]

Lady Maud may have married Ernulf de Magnaville born 1160 in Sandal Magna, Yorkshire, England in 1182 in Yorkshire and that she died there.

Maud FitzWalter, married William de Luvetot, son of Richard de Luvtot, by his 1st wife, Cecily, daughter of Ralph Brito. She was born about 1161. They had one daughter, Maud. William De Luvetot died 7 April 1181. His widow, Maud, married (2nd) Ernulf De Mandeville, of Middlesex, and Essex. They had one son, Ernulf. His wife, Maud, was living 26 Jan. 1195/6. Ernulf de Mandeville was living 1199.

ii. Maud FitzWalter, married (1st) William De Luvetot; (2nd) Ernulf de Mandeville, of Middlesex.
iii. Alice Fitz Walter, married Gilbert Pecche, of Suffolk.

Walter FitzRobert, born before 1134. He married (1st) Maud De Lucy, daughter of Richard de Lucy, by Rohese, daughter of William of Boulogne. They had three sons, Richard, Robert, and Walter [Precentor of St. Paul's], and two daughters, Maud and Alice. His 1st wife, Maud, was presumably living about 1170. He married (2nd) before c.1181 Maud De Bohun, widow of Henry d'Oilly, and daughter of Humphrey de Bohun, by Margaret, daughter of Miles of Gloucester, 1st Earl of Hereford. They had one son, Simon. Sir Walter FitzRobert died in 1198. His widow, Maud was living in Easter Term 1201.
