Biography

Sarah Gawthrop

She was born about 1836. She was baptised at Histon, Cambridgeshire 12 Mar 1837 and was the daughter of William Gawthrop and Sarah Carter. Her mother Sarah had died of Smallpox in 1836, probably soon after Sarah's birth. ^[1]

Sarah baptised four illegitimate children at Histon, Cambridgeshire, and at Chesterton, Cambridgeshire between 1856 and 1871. ^{[2] [3] [4] [5]}

She was in the Chesterton union workhouse at the time of 1861, 1871 and 1881 censuses. ^{[6] [7] [8]}

She married Benjamin Bull in 1882. ^{[9] [10]}

She passed away in 1915. ^[11]
