Biography

William Gawthrop

He was born about 1843, [1] being baptised at Histon Cambridgeshire, England on 26 Feb 1843. [2]
The spelling of his surname was somewhat erratic across his lifetime (including Gaulthrope, Gawthroup and Gawthrop).
He married Mary Ann Allen, the daughter of James Allen and his wife Mary Ann Steadman on 7 Jul 1863 at Histon. [3] [4]
He passed away in 1916. [5]
