Biography

Marian was born in 1894. At the age of eleven, both her parents died suddenly within a few months of each other. Marian went to live with her cousin Eva.

Marian attended the Lyndhurst Sewing School and at one time was secretary for the American Baptist Board of Promotion on Fifth Avenue in New York City. Also was the private secretary for Rev. D. Warburton, the pastor who officiated her marriage to Frederick Davis.

She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Eastern Star.

Her hobbies included music, sewing, flowers, fishing and homemaking.

She passed away in 1949 and is buried at Riverside Cemetery, Waterbury, Connecticut.
