Biography
Gideon Grant was born about 1726 in East Windsor, Connecticut, the fifth child of Theophile Bartlett & Samuel Grant.
He married three times:
- (1) MEHITABLE BOWERS abt. 1752, daughter of EBENEZER/JOHN BOWERS and GRACE GRANT. She was born 1728, and died February 20, 1776.
- (2) ABIGAIL _____(GRANT), who was still living in 1787
- (3) RUTH _____(GRANT). She was born 1729, and died October 23, 1819.
Gideon Grant lived in Windsor, he was a fence viewer, tythingman, grand juror; member of the church at East Windsor.
He was one of the administrators of his father's estate.
Blind for many years [1]. He died at age 94.
