Jean Baptiste Guyon served with French-Canadians Rendering Aid during the American Revolution.

Jean Baptiste was born in 1733. He was the son of Joseph Guyon and Brigitte Baucher.

He married/1 4 Feb 1754 in St-Michel, Nouvelle France to Geneviève Morissette, the daughter of Nicolas Morissette and Marie Anne Cloutier. She will die at the young age of 34 in 1769.

He will marry his second wife Madeliene Paré on the 9 Feb 1770 in St-François-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Quebec, the daughter of Louis Paré and Marie Louise Fournier.

He passed away in 1810 at age 76 in Montmagny, Bas-Canada.

Baptiste Dion was also appointed ensign by the said Clément Gosselin. Although he was absent at the time of the parish assembly, his zeal and affection for the rebels left no doubt about his acceptance [of the commission].
He enlisted with the rebels for 48 # per month, as did the Joseph Gravel, Pierre Bacar, one of the late Joseph Boulanger’s children, Bte Boulé, Maurice Rodrique, and a Gagné.

Il se maria le 1er février 1754 à St-Michel, en Nouvelle-France, à Geneviève Morissette, fille de Nicolas Morissette et de Marie Anne Cloutier. Elle mourra à l'âge de 34 ans en 1769.

Il épousera sa deuxième femme Madeliene Paré le 9 février 1770 à St-François-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Québec, fille de Louis Paré et de Marie Louise Fournier.

Il décida en 1810 à l'âge de 76 ans à Montmagny, au Bas-Canada.

Dion-188 and Guyon-232 appear to represent the same person because: both have same birth and death dates and locations, same spouse [also duplicated and merge proposed]; both reference same source [nosorigines profile]. Note that a merge proposal for these 2 profiles was made recently, but was rejected without comment. Additional review of original sources are needed to confirm his correct LNAB so these profiles can be merged.
