Samuel was born about 1918. He was the son of Samuel Hines and Bertha Williams. He passed away in 1989.

Research Notes

  • Samuel's birth date is marked "uncertain" because there is quite a bit of variety in the sources. His military records say 21 Sep 1918. His Social Security application says 15 Sep 1918, and the 1940 census says 1922.
  • His obituary says that he was to be interred in Fernwood Cemetery, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, but there is not yet a corroborating memorial on Find-a-Grave.
