Elisabeth Muir was born on April 3 1808, in The Barony Parish, [Glasgow] Lanarkshire, Scotland, to James Horn and Marion Horn.
Elisabeth had 7 siblings: Alexander Horn , James Horn , Robert Downie Horn , Donald Horn , Margret McInnis , Thomas Horn and Marrion Horn . Elisabeth married Thomas Muir, Jr. on May 8 1826, at age 18 in Lanark twp, Upper Canada. They had 12 children: James Horn Muir , Thomas L Muir , William L Muir , Alexander Muir , Andrew G Muir , Marrion Kydd , Robert Crawford Muir , Elizabeth L Currie , Mary Craig Miller , George Muir , John Muir and Samuel Muir .
Elisabeth passed away on March 20 1877, at age 68 in Hibbert Township, Perth Co., Ontario, Canada.
