Clues to commonalities from NC

In 1790, Jesse HOOF lived in Randolph Co, NC and has not be easily identified in later censuses. He may have died in1810 or moved to IN with his sons about 1811. The sons settled at Falling Timbers on Fourteen Mile Creek in Clark Co., IN which separated a portion to create Scott County later.

Tradition says Jesse and Ruth had 20 children all of whom lived to adulthood but this is not confirmed; it is also possible he md (2) Ruth DAVIS. Some chn do seem to incl Anna, Daniel, Abel, John, David and Alex, (the last two poss. duplicates of Daniel and Abel). Some of these descendants moved to Clark, Scott and Jennings Co., IN. [1]
