1708 Birth and Parents

Thomas Ijams was born 7 August 1708 in All Hallows Parish, Anne Arundel County, Maryland., He was the son of William Ijams, born 1671 in Anne Arundel County and died 17 May 1738. His mother was Elizabeth Plummer, born 19 January 1678 in All Hallows Parish, and died 22 September 1762 in Anne Arundel County. They married 276 August 1696 in All Hallows Parish.[1]

Thomas Iiams (aka Ijams) was born August 7, 1708 on Bridge Hill Plantation at All Hollows, Ann Arundel CO, MD [2]

Thomas Iiams, son of William and Elizabeth (Plummer) Iiams, was born August 7, 1708 at Bridge Hill, All Hallows Parish, and was named after his maternal grandfather. [3]

William and Elizabeth Plummer Iiams were married in Maryland on 27 August 1696.

1768 Death

He died 1768 in Anne Arundel County. [1]

Thomas Iiams made his will on October 27th 1766, and bequeathed his estate to his four named sons. By a codicil he made his daughter, Susannah Pumphreys, an heir. The instrument was proved at Annapolis November 28, 1768. The inventory of the personal estate was taken on July 14, 1769, with his son , Thomas Iiams, as executor. Elizabeth and John Iiams signed as the kinsmen. At the final esttlement in 1770, the state was distributed among seven unnamed representatives. [3]

Research Notes

Harry Wright Newman reports that the name of Thomas Iiam's wife has not been proved. [3]. However, three women are currently linked as wives on WikiTree.

In 1732 she married Samuel Waters (1707-1773) [6]

She died 17 May 1790 in Prince George's County, Maryland, USA. She was buried in the West River Meeting Graveyard, Lothian, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, USA[6]
