Chapman's NEHGR article on the Kirtland family (14:241-44) has Hester Kirtland's birthdate as March 19, 1704 and says she married 1st Dea. Jedediah Chapman of Westbrook & 2nd Robert Chapman of East Haddam. Saybrook Land Records as transcribed by Plimpton give her parents as John Kirtland and Temperance Buckingham, and her birth date as March 10, 1704.
