Biography

Moise Léger was born about 1796. He was the son of Gabriel Leger and Marguerite Blanche Gallant.

Moise married Marie Boudreau, daughter of Pierre Boudreau and Marie Poirier, on 27 Nov 1820 in Barachois.[1][2] A dispensation was granted for 3 degrees of consanguinity (view relationship). Witnesses were Gabriel Leger his father and Joseph Gallant his cousin, and Pierre Boudreau her father and David Boudreau her brother.

He passed away in 1864.

Il épouse Marie Boudrot, fille de Pierre et Marie Poirier, le 27 novembre 1820 à Barachois. Les témoins sont, du côté de l'époux, Gabriel Léger, son père et Joseph Gallant, son cousin, et du côté de l'épouse, Pierre Boudrot, son père et David Boudrot, son frère. [3]

Moyse décède le 10 août 1864 et est inhumé deux jours plus tard à Barachois, en présence de Abraham Léger et Léon Terriau [4]
