Emilie Lafrance was born on April 26, 1864 in Saint-Romuald to Édouard Pinel and Adèle Gagnon. She was baptized the next day. Her godparents were Gabriel Valleuc(?) and Elizabeth Beaudouin[1].
Her parents moved the family to the St-Laurent Ward of Lévis by 1871. Their household consisted of Edouard, a day laborer; his wife Adele; and their children: Mathilda, David, William, Eliza, and Emilie[2].
Her family was still residing in the St-Laurent Ward of Lévis during the 1881 census. Their household consisted of Edouard, a day laborer; his wife Adele; and their children: David and Emelie[3].
Emilie likely married René Bouvier around 1884. It's possible that the Anna Bouvier living in her parent's household in the 1891 census is their daughter[4].
Emilie and René were living in the St-Louis Ward of Montreal in 1901. It states that René immigrated from France to Quebec in 1883[5].
She married again to Guillaume Dugas on September 10, 1923 in Pierrefonds[6].

Maternal line mitochondrial DNA test-takers:
I added two sources about the death of Emelie Pinel, widow of Renée Bouvier, in 1925 in Roberval. There is no mention of Dugas, location is odd, and age doesn't fit the profile. Further research would be necessary to confirm that she the good one!
Thank you for adding these! I had asked for help about a month ago, and this record came up, but I never got around to putting it up. We never came to a conclusion as to whether this was actually her or not. I've been trying to research her for almost a year now, and haven't had much luck other than finally finding her and René in the 1901 census. I should also look into Guillaume more, as that might give me some answers as to how she ended up in Roberval, if this is her.
