Biography
She was born on 12 May 1915 in Tama County, Iowa, USA and was the biological daughter of Clara Etta (Peck, 1879–1918) and Oliver Perry Liston (1867–1923).
After her mother's death in 1918 and she and her sister were adopted by different families.
At 3 years old she was adopted by Sadie (Beck) and David Jeremiah Thompson.
Etta Marie Liston-Thompson married on 04 Nov 1936 in Marshalltown, Marshall County, Iowa, USA to Ronald Floyd Uhde
She passed away on 28 April 1997 in DesMoines, Polk County, Iowa, USA and was buried at Albion Cemetery in Albion, Marshall County, Iowa, USA. [1]

Thompson-691 and Liston-522 appear to represent the same person because: Etta Marie Liston Thompson was my grandmother. I didn't realize she was already on here when I first started working on WikiTree. Etta was born Liston and adopted by the Thompsons. I would like to work on updating this information but will wait till after the merge. Thank you
