Hi Shirley

I see that you have had your DNA tested, congratulations! Getting Started with DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.

To be able to add profiles, you will need to upgrade (there is no cost). You can do this from your Upgrade page. Just answer the five questions, e.g. who you want to communicate with, if others can see your family tree, what surnames, locations, or topics interest you, etc, and click on the green box that says "Upgrade”.

Upgrading just means you will become a Family Member with the ability to work on your immediate ancestors to help us achieve our goal of joining all individual family trees into one global family tree.

I have tried wikitree twice and I just get frustrated and logout. I have a robust tree at ancestry and use that almost every day. Many members of my family tree are on wikitree and I haven't been able to communicate with the person who entered the information and get errors corrected. I have tested auDNA as 23andme.com, familytreedna.com and ancestry.com. I also have paid for 5 other family members to test at ancestry.com and familytreedna.com. I love researching but haven't been able to crack wikitree. I do use familysearch.com.
