Biography

Joseph was born in 1769. He was the son of Peter Main and Patience Eggleston.

He married Jane Blanchard, w/children;

Patience Main Gibbs, 1796–1874
Thomas P. Main, 1798–1878
Mary "Polly" Main Colman, 1800–1844
Prudence MAIN Gould, 1804–1851
Hiram Main, 1806–1878
Sophronia Main Gibbs, 1808–1895
Elias B. Main, 1815–1890

He passed away in 1838.
