Biography

Jacob Martin, b. c1698. d. aft 1763. He arrived on the ship Molly on 30 Sep 1727 with his brother David and a large group of Mennonites. He warranted 120 acres in Earl Township on 15 Jan 1733. He was never taxed at Earl Township. He was taxed at Manor Township as Jacob Martin Sr., next to his son Jacob Martin Jr., in 1758. He was taxed again at Manor Township next to his son in 1759 and 1763. He either died or moved away between 1763 and 1765.
