Biography

Phyllis was born on 20 September 1907 in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Her father was Harry Percy Massey and her mother was Mary Ellen (France) Massey (married 3 April 1902 Pendleton, Lancashire, England). ^[1]

When Phyllis was 22 she married Arnould Herbert Hurt in May 1930 in Salford, Lancashire, England. The couple had two sons, Michael (Br Anselm) Hurt and John Vincent Hurt.^[4]

Phyllis died at the age of about 67 in about 1975 in Scotland.^[6]
