Americus C. Mayberry married Margaret Elizabeth Dodson on the 25th February, 1847 in Williamson County, Tennessee.[1]

Americus is listed in the 1850 Federal census in Williamson County, Tennessee as head of household. A.C. Mayberry's household appears as follows: A. C., age 25, born Tennessee; Elizabeth, age 23, born Tennessee; and son Fulton, age 2 months born Tennessee.[2]

Americus is listed in the 1860 Federal census in Williamson County, Tennesee as head of household. Americus' household appears as follows: Americus, age 35; E.M., age 31; Fulton, age 8; Nancy, age 4; and John H., age 1.[3]

Americus' exact date and place of death is currently unknown. He died sometime before 1870, as his widow is listed as head of household in the 1870 Federal census.

Mayberry-922 and Mayberry-51 do not represent the same person because: Both men have similar names and similar dates and place of birth but this does not mean they are the same person. There is not enough information and no sources on Mayberry-51 to confirm whether or not these are the same person or two different men who might be cousins with similar names, years of birth, etc.
