Isaac McCann, was born about 27 April 1819 (calculated from age at death), in Hector, assuming his parents were John McCann and Lydia Taylor, living there at the time. That they were his parents is not proved (no birth record or probate) but appropriate census data, in the right place and time leads to this almost certain conclusion.
He married Margaret Hopkins in 1840,[1] She died in 1849.[2]
By the 1850 Census enumeration he was married to Lucretia ___ , a much younger woman (b. c. 1832 from gravestone).
Isaac died 8 July 1887,[3] and Lucretia died in 1888. They are buried at the Briggs Cemetery in Benton.
