By 1901, aged 19, Jessie was working as a general domestic servant at Cliffview, Oban in the household of William and Mary McKenzie / Annie L Fraser[2]. It seems that Jessie must have spent many years there, since she later married at Cliff View.
On 21 June 1913 at Cliff View, Oban - Jessie married Angus McDonald, a tailor from Garnethill, Glasgow[3].
Unfortunately, Jessie died of Pernicious Anaemia and Cardiac Failure in Oban on 5 Sep 1928[4]. She was 44 years old.
Later that same month on 22nd September, an Executry Notice concerning her death was published in the Oban Times[5].
